Positioning for the future
The role is a key part of NoA Ignite's ongoing transformation, which aims to unify the company's broad expertise in technology, data, and design into an even stronger and more integrated offering for its clients.
– In the current market, merely delivering good projects is no longer sufficient. We must stay ahead of rapid technological shifts, co-create future opportunities with our clients, and continuously refine our strategic direction. Redefining the role of strategy
Jesper Wolff Olsen is eager to take on the challenge and believes the discipline of strategy itself is changing.
– What motivates me is a core belief that strategy alone is no longer enough. In today's market, especially with the rise of AI, a good strategy has become an accessible and affordable resource. Success is about context, leadership, and most importantly, the ability to execute. That’s why I’m excited to redefine the CSO role at NoA Ignite. It's not just about drafting the plans. It's about creating the conditions for an execution that truly brings them to life, says Jesper Wolff Olsen.
He adds that he is genuinely excited about the team he will now lead.
– There is a fantastic ability within this organization to make fast decisions and to adapt. Our strength will be the ability to connect all our disciplines, from strategy and technology to design, to solve real business and technology goals. My job will be to channel that drive. Together, we will build a culture based on trust, where we become best-in-class at turning plans into actual results.
Bridging the gap between technology and business
Jesper Wolff Olsen is a well-regarded leader in business design and digital transformation. He is a familiar face within The North Alliance as the co-founder of NoA Connect, an agency he built from the ground up to help organizations become truly results-driven. He is also a current partner at NoA Ignite Denmark, where he applies his ability to build a bridge between complex technical frameworks and the company's overall business goals.
His background includes a wide array of high-impact national and international projects, from designing infrastructure for whole-genome sequencing and national health databases, to the rollout of global digital transformation programs and developing platforms for deep business and activation insights. Prior to becoming part of the NoA family, he was a management consultant at PA Consulting
A key priority in his new role will be to build the company's resilience to economic shifts and to drive the accelerated use of AI throughout the organization, from go-to-market strategies to delivery models. His most important takeaway is that although AI can generate a flawless plan, human leadership remains essential for owning the execution and delivering results.
